Dennis Wayne Daymon

Dennis Wayne Daymon went to Heaven on March 20th, 2023 surrounded by his family in his home.
Dennis, from Rosiclare IL, was survived by his only daughter, Kayli Daymon; love of his life Lynn Turner-Gibbs; brother, David Austin and mother, Charlotte Austin.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Daymon; his sister, Becky Daymon; his uncle, Jack Daymon and aunt Oveta Daymon.
Dennis was retired from Shawnee Department of Corrections and in his spare time you’d find him listening to a Cardinals game on his front porch. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting with his daughter and his friends. He had a nickname for almost everyone and his laugh filled the room. His sense of humor and selflessness will be remembered forever.
Services for Dennis Daymon will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Hardin County Funeral Service in Rosiclare, IL at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Empire Cemetery in Elizabethtown, IL. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
