Daniel H. McGhee, Sr., 71, of Elizabethtown, IL. died Wednesday at Hardin County Hospital in Rosiclare, IL. He was a member of Potters Church.
Surviving is his wife, Mary McGhee of Elizabethtown, IL; sons, Daniel McGhee, Jr. of Evansville, IN., Daniel Steve McGhee of Galatia, IL., David Gulley of Elizabethtown, IL., Robert Joseph Foster of Elizabethtown, IL and Russell Foster of Nokomis, IL.; daughters, Sherry Kay McGhee of Cave-in-Rock, IL., Christy D. Garrison of Thompsonville, IL., Chrissie L. Leonberger of Elizabethtown, IL., Regina Johnson of Elizabethtown, IL. and Anna M. Cowsert of Elizabethtown, IL.; brother, Bill Martin of Olney, IL; 35 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Pearl Thorne and sister, Mary E. "Cookie" Thorne.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday June 13. 2015 at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare, IL. with interment in Callicott Cemetery in Shawneetown, IL. The family will receive visitors from 10 AM until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
