Survivors include his wife, Joyce Hackney of Ledbetter, KY; children, David Driskill of Marion, KY and Charles Dean Hackney II of Paducah, KY; grandchildren, Devin S. Driskill and Ayden Muso; sisters, Diann Shuecraft, Donita Mae James, Sharon Louise Tinsley and Jeanette Doom all of Marion, KY and Penny Garrett of Morganfield, KY and brothers, Ronnie Hackney of Smithland, KY and Clark Hackney, Eddie Hackney and Joey Hackney all of Marion, KY.
He was preceded by his daughter, Lianne N. Patton Lester; parents, Charles Edward and Shirley Hackney and brother, Allen Hackney.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1 PM Monday December 14, 2020 at Mapleview Cemetery in Marion, KY with burial to follow.
Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY is in charge of arrangements.
