Mr. Charles Gene Beavers

Charles Gene Beavers, 76, of Carmi, IL. passed away on August 6, 2017 at Hamilton County General Hospital. Charles was born on July 7, 1941 to Robert Lee and Lillie Mae (Johnson) Beavers. He warried Edith (Hughes) Beavers on August 22, 1961. Charles was a retired prison guard.
Charles is survived by his wife of 55 years, Edith Beavers; sons, Greg (Sheryl) Beavers and Gordon DeWayne (Ginger) Beavers; and one brother Kenneth Wayne Beavers.
Charles is proceeded in death by his parents; one sister, Wanda Lee Bragdon; and two brothers, Robert Beavers Jr. and James I. Beavers.
Hardin County Funeral Services is overseeing arrangements. Memorial service for Charles will be held from 5-8pm Wednesday August 9, 2017 at Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home.
