Carlene Shockley

Carlene (Moore) Shockley was born February 21, 1937 in Hardin County to Logan and Myrtle (Smock) Moore. She departed this life on October 22, 2018.
Carlene was married to Jack Vaughn and later to Jesse Shockley. From these unions there were 9 Children (5 boys and 4 girls). Jackie Shockley -Rosiclare, Il; Jimmy Vaughn-Elizabethtown, Il; Johnny Vaughn-Jackson, Il; Gary Vaughn-Elizabethtown, Il; James Shockley-Salem, Ky; Deanna Lauderdale-Springfield, Il; Mary Paul-Elkhart, IN; Karen Hughey-Elko, NV; and Esther Rowe (deceased). There are 15 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews along with 1 living brother Harold Moore of Rosiclare, Il.
Preceding Carlene in death were her parents: Logan and Myrtle Moore; Husband: Jesse Shockley; Daughter: Esther Rowe; Brothers: Charles L. Moore, Billy Moore, Carl Moore, and Gary Moore; Sisters: Ruth Stacey, Betty Moore, and Shirley Gibbs.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 26, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Hardin County Funeral Service (Cox Chapel) in Rosiclare, Il. Rev. Todd Carr will officiate. Family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. till time of service on Friday at funeral home. Burial will follow at Fluorine Cemetery.
