Mrs. Barbara Sue Tolbert

Barbara Sue Tolbert, 70, of Elizabethtown, IL., passed away on Tuesday March 17, 2015 at Hardin County General Hospital. She was born on January 18, 1945 in Hardin County to Allen Mathews and Beulah ( Winters ) Mathews. On January 3, 1962 she married the love of her life, William Tolbert.
She is survived by her Husband: William Tolbert of Elizabethtown, IL.; Son: George Allen Tolbert; Daughter: Rita Faye Beattie; Daughter: Vicky Sue and J. C. Patterson; 19 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren; 3 Brothers: Roy and Martha Mathews, Johny and Sue Mathews, and George and Bonnie Mathews; 3 Sisters: Rita Charlene Price, Laura Mathews, and Lisa Lynn Davis; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her Parents: Allen and Beulah Mathews; Great Grandchild: Nathan James Beattie; 1 sister in infancy; Sister: Shirley Faye Wagner; and Brother: Edward Mathews; Nephew: John Mathews Jr.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be on Tuesday March 24, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. till Noon. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday March 24, 2015 at Adams Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Lindsey will officiate the services.
