Ronald F. "Tink" Hicklin
August 26, 1918 — January 11, 2015
Ronald F. "Tink" Hicklin, 96, of Marion, KY died Sunday at Crittenden County Hospital. He was a member of Marion United Methodist Church, VFW and was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.
Surviving is his niece, Janet Hicklin of Houston, TX; nephews, Ron Alvis of Frankfort, KY and Richard Franklin of Lexington, KY; 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew; 2 great great nieces and 2 great great nephews and special friends, Liz and Jerry Jackson..
He was preceded by his parents, James T. and Eva Hicklin; brothers, Ralph, Richard and Rob Hicklin and sisters, Mary Alvis and Lois Franklin.
Services are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday January 18, 2015 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Mapleview Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the Marion United Methodist Church Renovation Fund, 112 South College St., Marion, KY 42064.
