Mrs. Janet Potts Cornell

Janet Potts Cornell, 80, of Elizabethtown, IL. passed away on August 22, 2014 at Hardin County General Hospital in Rosiclare, IL. She was born on March 6, 1934 in Rosiclare, IL. to Raymond Potts and Norma Fowler Potts. She was a member of the Union Social Brethren Church and the Golden Circle Quilting Club.
She is survived by her Husband: Archie Cornell of Elizabethtown, IL.; Dau: Nancy & Hardin Smith of Sherman, IL.; Son: Frank T. & Denise Cornell of Elizabethtown, IL.; Son: Archie Russell Cornell of Elizabethtown, IL; Son: Wade Cornell & companion Donna of Elizabethtown, IL.; 13 Grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
She was preceded in death by her Parents: Raymond and Norma Potts; Son: Danny Joe Cornell; Grandson: David Parker Cornell; Sisters Ramona Lanham and Myrna Cowsert.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. As per her wishes, Mrs. Cornell will be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 30, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Union Social Brethren Church just south of Eichorn.
