Mr. James W. Vaughn

James W. Vaughn, 87, of Elizabethtown, IL. passed away on Thursday March 27, 2014 at Rosiclare Healthcare Center. He was born on November 9, 1926 in Tulu, Ky. to Jessie M. Vaughn and Nancy ( Singleton ). He was a retired fluorspar miner, a member of the Rosiclare Masonic Lodge # 1144, and an Ainad Shriner.
He is survived by a Son: Jim and Diann Vaughn; Dau: Sandy Potts; Dau: Connie Schutt; Son: Terry Vaughn; 7 Grand Children, 10 Great Grand Children, and one Great Great Grand Child.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Special Friend: Wanda Flynn; Sons: Larry and Hardy Vaughn; and Son In Law: Dale Potts.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Service will be Saturday March 29, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Rev. Stan Pennell will officiate the services. Burial will follow at Flourine Cemetery.
