James P. Ewell, 73, of Elizabethtown, IL died Wednesday at Hardin County Hospital in Rosiclare, IL. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rosiclare, IL and a U.S. Navy Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Carole Ann Ewell of Elizabethtown, IL; son, James Brian Ewell of Bluford, IL; daughter, Carrie Ann Dehn of Bluford, IL; brother, Harold Wayne Ewell of Galatia, IL; sister, Shelby Whitlock of Galatia, IL and 4 grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Bernie and Thelma Ewell; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Services are scheduled for 11 AM Saturday March 21, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Rosiclare, IL with interment in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg, IL. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Friday at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare, IL and from 9 AM until service time Saturday at the church.
Military Rites will be held at the cemetery on Saturday.
