Mr. Jack Edsol Conn

Jack Edsol Conn, 85, of Elizabethtown, IL., passed away on Thursday June 2, 2016 at the Hardin County General Hospital. He was born at home on October 22, 1930 to M.L. Conn and Iolene (Keeling) Conn in the Peters Creek area of Hardin County. He was a retired fluorspar miner, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and an Army veteran of Korea.
He is survived by a Daughter: Jackie Boyd of Elizabethtown, Il.; Grandson: Johnny Boyd Jr.; Great Grandson: Mason Lee Boyd; Brother: Bill and Faye Conn; Brother: Glen and Ruth Conn; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Wife: Thelma Conn; Parents: M.L. and Iolene Conn; Brothers: Donald, Eddy, and Paul; Sisters: Carol Pryor and Margie Birch; Niece: Tammy Conn; and Nephew: Chuck Douglas
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be held on Monday June 6, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 A.M. till funeral time. American Legion Post 571 will conduct military rites. Rev. Arthur Austin Jr. will officiate the services. Burial will follow at Peters Creek Cemetery.
