Harold Wayne Belt, 67, of Marion, KY died Thursday at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY. He was an U.S. Army Veteran, member of the Army National Guard for 26 years and a Correctional Officer for 26 years.
Surviving is his wife, Bonnie Belt of Marion, KY; daughter, Shelia Miniard of Marion, KY; son, Dave Belt of Marion, KY; 1 grandchild; 1 sister, 1 half sister and 2 half brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Brownie and Eulene Belt.
Services are scheduled for 11 AM Monday May 11, 2015 at Gilbert Funeral Home in Marion, KY with interment in Mexico Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Military Rites will be given at the cemetery on Monday.
