Mr. Fred Weldon Smith

Fred Weldon Smith, 80, of Rosiclare, IL., passed away on Friday May 19, 2017 at the Hardin County General Hospital. He was born on April 30, 1937 in Hardin County to Charles Newell Smith and Freda (Ginger) Smith. He was a retired Fluorspar miner.
Mr. Smith is survived in death by a Son: Dale and Velmie Smith; Daughter: Pamela and John Brown; Son: Donnie and Becky Smith; Daughter: Teresa Ison; Daughter: Angelia and Tommy Lewis; Son: Kevin Mark Smith; Son: Steven Frederick Smith; Son: Jerry Smith; Son: William Jeffery Smith; Son: Darrel Andy Smith; Daughter: Jennifer and Josh Wiseman; 12 Grand Children; Several Great Grand Children; Brother: Donni and Carolyn Smith; Many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Parents: Charles and Freda Smith; and Brothers: Vernon, Loy, and Wendell.
Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday May 24, 2017 at the funeral home. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 A.M. till funeral time. Burial will follow at Waters Cemetery. Rev. Stan Pennell will officiate the services.
