Dorothy “Joyce” Clanton, 75, of Rosiclare, IL. died Friday June 15, 2018 at Harrisburg Medical Center. She attended Rosiclare First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Marla D. (Charles) Winters of Elizabethtown, IL., Murray Dewayne (Jennie) Fulkerson of Nashville, TN. and Diane (David E.) Cornelius of Fayette, Alabama; sisters, Margaret L. Shelby of Eichorn, IL and Patricia Shelby of Florida; step children, Chris (Teresa) Clanton and Carol Willingham both of West Virginia; sister-in-law, Martha Williams of Rosiclare, IL.; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Harry Lloyd “Loy” and Ada (Cowgill) Shelby; 1st Husband, Murray "Doc" Fulkerson, 2nd Husband, Thomas B. Clanton; 2 brothers: James “Jimmy” Shelby and Donald “Sonny” Shelby, and 2 sisters: Mary Louise “Dolly” Hamp Shaw and Shirley Ann Gaskins.
Services are scheduled for 1 PM Monday June 18, 2018 at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare, IL. with interment in Gossage Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10 AM until service time Monday at the funeral home.
